Kenya Affordable Medication Initiative

Epilepsy affects around 800,000 to one million people in Kenya, but public awareness is low, leading to discrimination and stigmatization. To combat this, the Kenya Affordable Medication Initiative seeks to raise awareness and partner with pharmaceutical providers to offer essential anti-seizure medications at affordable prices. This program aims to reduce seizure-related morbidity and mortality, improve quality of life, and promote sustainable care for those living with epilepsy.
